A single serves from a pocket tube; a 7-pack lives in a rigid box with a die-cut insert. What cone sizes do your packaging formats fit?
Our tubes and inserts are engineered for the standard pre-rolled cone range: 84mm (half-gram), 98mm, 109mm, and 116mm (full-gram), plus 1.5g and 2g king-size cones. Tube inner diameter and box insert grooves are cut to the cone's actual diameter with tight tolerance, so the cone stays centered and the tip is protected. Custom sizes are available for cone papers outside the standard range.
Should I choose tubes or rigid boxes for my cones?
It depends on your sales format. Singles and doubles sell best from cone tubes - pop-top or screw-cap CR vials are pocketable, cheap at volume, and re-sealable. Multi-packs (5-pack, 7-pack, 10-pack) are more cost-efficient in rigid boxes or CR cartons with die-cut inserts, and they carry far more brand surface for printing. Many brands run both: tubes for dispensary singles, boxes for multi-pack SKUs.
Are your cone tubes and boxes child-resistant (CR) certified?
Yes. Our CR pop-top tubes, CR slide boxes, and CR carton systems are tested to ASTM D3475 and 16 CFR 1700 child-resistant standards, satisfying all U.S. state cannabis regulations. Each production batch ships with a certificate of compliance and test documentation. We also track state-specific changes - such as Ohio's 2026 slide-lock tube ban - and advise on format selection accordingly.
Do you manufacture the cones or the papers themselves?
No - Lekas specializes in the packaging that holds pre-rolled cones: tubes, doob tubes, pop-top vials, rigid boxes, and multi-pack cartons. The cone and rolling paper are separate manufactured products (see our Cones & Papers page). We can recommend cone suppliers from our network, but our core offering is the packaging system that contains and presents them.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) for cone packaging?
Standard MOQ for custom printed cone packaging starts at 1,000-5,000 units per SKU, depending on the format. Tubes have the lowest entry point; rigid boxes with custom dies are most flexible due to our in-house digital die-cutting. Pilot runs of 1,000-3,000 units are produced on the same lines as volume orders. Stock/unprinted items have no minimum.
Can you print my brand on both tubes and boxes?
Yes. Tubes support silk screen printing, pad printing, and full-wrap labels with matte, gloss, or soft-touch finishes. Rigid boxes support offset CMYK + PMS spot colors, foil stamping, embossing, and spot UV. Send one artwork file and we color-match across all formats so your tube and box branding is consistent on the shelf.
