What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) for edibles packaging?

Standard MOQ for custom printed edibles packaging starts at 1,000-5,000 units per SKU, depending on the format. Gummy boxes and resealable pouches have the most flexible MOQ due to our in-house digital die-cutting capabilities. We offer pilot runs of 1,000-3,000 units for new brands testing the market. For stock/unprinted items, there is no minimum.

How long does production and delivery take?

Sampling: 72 hours after artwork approval. Production: 2-3 weeks for standard orders, 1-2 weeks for rush orders. Ocean freight: 15-25 days to U.S. West Coast ports. Air freight: 5-7 days. We offer DDP door-to-door service with customs clearance and last-mile delivery included.

Do you manufacture the edibles themselves?

No — Lekas specializes in outer packaging for edibles: CR boxes, glass jars, and resealable pouches that contain and present gummies, chocolates, and baked goods. The edibles themselves are separate manufactured products. Our core offering is the packaging system that keeps them safe, fresh, and compliant.

How do you keep edibles fresh and potent during storage?

We use high-barrier, resealable packaging with moisture and oxygen protection that maintains taste, texture, and THC stability across a 6-12 month shelf life. Multi-layer constructions, foil laminates, and resealable zipper closures are standard options. All designs are validated with storage and barrier testing before mass production.
