Vape packaging is an outer container system — cartridge, battery, and AIO device manufacturing are separate categories.
Are your vape packages child-resistant (CR) certified?
Yes. All CR-certified vape products meet ASTM D3475 and 16 CFR 1700 child-resistant packaging standards, satisfying the requirements of all U.S. state cannabis regulations. Each production batch ships with a certificate of compliance and ASTM test documentation. We also track state-specific vape regulations — including battery transport requirements and exit bag rules — and advise on format selection accordingly.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) for vape packaging?
Standard MOQ for custom printed vape packaging starts at 1,000-5,000 units per SKU, depending on the format. 510 cartridge boxes and AIO pen boxes have the most flexible MOQ due to our in-house digital die-cutting capabilities. We offer pilot runs of 1,000-3,000 units for new brands testing the market. For stock/unprinted items, there is no minimum.
How long does production and delivery take?
Sampling: 72 hours after artwork approval. Production: 2-3 weeks for standard orders, 1-2 weeks for rush orders. Ocean freight: 15-25 days to U.S. West Coast ports. Air freight: 5-7 days. We offer DDP door-to-door service with customs clearance and last-mile delivery included. Battery packaging includes UN38.3 documentation preparation as part of our standard service.
Do you manufacture vape cartridges, batteries, or AIO devices?
No — Lekas specializes in outer packaging for vape products: 510 cartridge boxes, AIO pen boxes, CR tubes, battery kit boxes, and sample kit boxes. Cartridges, batteries, and AIO devices are separate manufactured products. We can recommend suppliers from our network, but our core offering is the packaging system that contains, protects, and presents them.
How do you prevent cartridge leakage during shipping?
Cartridge packaging design is central to our vape packaging engineering. We use precision-cut foam inserts that hold cartridges in fixed orientation, prevent movement, and absorb impact force. For mylar pouches, we use multi-layer barrier construction that prevents pressure differentials from causing seal failure. All designs are validated with drop-testing before mass production.
